A “New” Perspective on the High Country’s Fall Foliage – From the River!

Fall is a popular time of year to visit Boone, NC.

In our opinion, the very best place to see fall foliage in the High Country is on the New River. Kayakers and Canoers can enjoy the brilliant colors of autumn reflecting off the water.
There is nothing more gorgeous than to see the autumn colors clinging to the trees as you paddle down the river with the lush rolling hills in the back drop.
It is simply magical.

Arrive at our outpost, we will shuttle you to the launch site where you will enjoy a beautiful scenic paddle back to our outpost.
Have your own craft? We can provide shuttle service to the launch site.  Never paddled before? – No worries- no prior skills needed, fun for all ages!
Your furry friends are welcome too!

Leave the leaf-peeping traffic behind and escape in a kayak where you can gain a fresh perspective of she seasons oranges, golds and reds from the water.
