When we, as humans, get out into nature, we have the opportunity to get out of our heads and into our hearts!  All the mental clutter of the normal day falls away and we are able to more truly and deeply connect with ourselves, nature and those we love.  We believe this is the reason that our guests love coming to Wahoos to experience the beauty of rafting on  the Upper Nolichucky River Gorge and the Watauga River and tubing or paddling on the South Fork of the New River!

These are places where people have no choice but to set aside the cellphone…No Cell Signal!  Yeah!  DIGITAL DETOX here we come.  Doesn’t the thought of that feel SO GOOD?
